Back in the day Chronic was a West Coast cannabis champion until OG Kush came around. Devastating every marijuana strain for nearly a decade. Chronic is a fab strain with heavy indica properties and uplifting sativa stone.
[singlepic id=109 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=right]It’s great video game ganja created by Amsterdam breeder Serious Seeds. Who has taken home many prizes, including third in ’94 High Times Cannabis Cup, with Chronic.
The marijuana type is single cola heavy yielding cannabis plant. Excellent marijuana strain for sea of green or screen of green setups. Does not like to topped and won’t produce side branching.
Given its excellent breeding, including a recent update, anticipate no phenotype differences between plants.
Chronic produces light fluffy marijuana buds in 60 – 65 days. Buds break apart beautifully and vaporize wonderfully. Creating a tasty toke that isn’t too overpowering.
Fascinatingly Chronic was tweaked in 2000 by Serious Seeds. Tweaked, when so few marijuana strains have been around long enough to be improved upon. The strain is allegedly Northern Lights x (Skunk x Northern Lights) x AK 47.
Typical of strains developed in Amsterdam during the heyday of hazy Gen X, it packs a powerful marijuana high while lacking taste.
Chronic has a sweet very mild taste, but was considered very tasty in the ’90s. It’s just not as tasty by today’s standards. Much like White Widow and AK-47 that also came out of this period. They all taste great, but it’s muted. Taking a back seat to the marijuana high.
[singlepic id=105 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=left]Back then marijuana seed breeders were seeking short squat fast flowering marijuana plants that packed a powerful punch. For indoor marijuana grows. Taste wasn’t what they were looking for. Chronic had all these great properties and sum taste too boot.
Still luh it.
Especially now because it’s a cannabis classic.
