Former co-accused Compton and I took some amazing microscopic marijuana photos using a USB powered 400x magnification microscope. Easily. How easy? Well I did fail grade nine science twice.
Had I known all the skills needed to grow marijuana are taught in grade nine science I’m certain I’d gotten straight A’s.
As you can see examining marijuana under a microscope is like viewing a weird science fiction universe. Unless you’re a marijuana grower or professional pothead who knows what they’re looking for.
With a microscope you can view trichrome development.
Trichromes are where the weed high is.
They should be cloudy to an amber color.
Hmmm…I’ll review Sugar Shack soon.
I’ve used the 420 Scope and 60x loop from Radioshack when I grew medicinal marijuana to examine trichrome development.

Both are ok.
Not really fun.
However for a true trichrome good time I recommend the Discovery USB Microscope from Veho. Viewing the marijuana bud image with friends live on a computer screen is an awesome stoner activity.
The 420 Scopes are solo stoner while USB Microscope is not.

We tapped the specimen tray to push the bud around in an effort to get better marijuana photos.
After shipping, the gadget from Geek Deals was $100 USD. A great price. Cheaper than a similar scope from 420 Scope.
The only difference is Discovery USB Microscope doesn’t have 420 logo blazed on it.
Instead of using the software that came with our microscope, we used Photoshop to take photos. After installing the Windows XP driver. With Photoshop the microscope is even more brilliant as we can photograph images in higher resolution.
Our first efforts turned out fantastic.
It’s simple fun to get started. This photo gallery represents a two hour session. That of course included plenty of marijuana vaporizing. The install time was limited to a vapor bag.
We have ideas and new pieces (like a make-up compact mirror) to try to go further in capturing fantastic cannabis photos. With practice we’ll produce some of the best, if not the best, marijuana trichrome photos.
