Government scientists, working for U.S. National Institute On Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism have removed the stone from marijuana while maintaining they claim, its medical effects. I’m not late April fooling you or writing like a paranoid pothead. A reefer researcher is attempting to remove the high associated with medicinal marijuana because some people might not like getting stoned when they medicate. The high is considered an un-desirable side effect by government.
Plenty of prescription drugs approved by FDA or Health Canada get you much more ripped than anything marijuana can produce. Oxycontin addiction is so bad pharmacies only fill the script by special order because they have drug store cowboy fears. Opiates aren’t the only approved drugs with a powerful high, there’s anti-anxiety and muscle relaxants.
Besides a high, marijuana may make you sleepy, hungry, energetic, or a host of other positive effects. Meanwhile approved government drugs may work, but can also cause depression, suicidal thoughts, sexual dysfunction, and slew of other problems. Just read the sheet your pharmacist provides when you fill a prescription. People take prescriptions solely to counter act side effects of other prescriptions. Yet government is concerned about a plant’s stone.
There’s 85 active ingredients in the marijuana plant. Not just THC! These weed researchers have isolated only one. Guess which one? THC. Our bodies have receptors that react to all these marijuana molecules when we smoke a joint, do a bong rip or vaporize.
Instead of scientists where are the government botanists messing with marijuana plants the good ole fashion way via breeding programs? Why not breed U.S. schwag marijuana with Health Canada schwag marijuana to see what kind of plant it produces. It’s easy to produce a plant without a high when you use bad genetics. I’m concerned when scientists mess with nature. Not just the pot plant either.
